Il a soutenu le r\u00f4le des instances juridiques internationales comme la CPI et la CIJ. Erskine-Smith a \u00e9t\u00e9 l&#039;un des premiers lib\u00e9raux \u00e0 rompre avec le parti et \u00e0 r\u00e9clamer un embargo sur les armes. Il a appel\u00e9 \u00e0 un cessez-le-feu imm\u00e9diat et \u00e0 une augmentation de l&#039;aide humanitaire \u00e0 Gaza. Son engagement parlementaire comprend la cosignature de la lettre de cessez-le-feu.
